Scott Elliott, Le Roi


Scott Elliott, Bass-Baritone, was recently with the Connecticut Opera company for their 2006-2007 season as one of their Resident Artists.  While there, he performed the roles of Morales and El Remendado in their main stage production of Bizet’s Carmen, as well as almost 200 performances of outreach programs, opera previews, and gala events.  This past year, Mr. Elliott performed his first Gianni Schicchi with the Bethesda Summer Music Festival, and performed as Sarastro and the Sprecher in a production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute with the Project Opera of Manhattan.  In addition, Scott has worked with the Baltimore Opera, Chautauqua Opera, American Opera Theater, Bay Area Summer Opera Theater Institute, Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, and the Peabody Opera Department.  He has received Master's degrees in both Voice and Trombone from the Peabody Institute, and completed a Bachelor's degree in Music at Virginia Tech University.  Scott currently resides in Brooklyn.
